XOOMSERVERS.NET OrderVerification Policy
This is an Agreement between You - Customer of our Hosting Services, and the following companies, which partner with XOOMSERVERS.NET - LiquidNet US LLC, a US company headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and LiquidNet Ltd., a UK company headquartered in London, UK. Legal details about the two companies can be found in the 'Customer Service Contact Details' section of this document. For the sake of brevity, XOOMSERVERS.NET, LiquidNet US LLC and LiquidNet Ltd. will be referred to as 'XOOMSERVERS.NET' in this document.
Thisdocument containsall details about our order verification procedure. Its aim is tofill you in on our policy towards Internet frauds. Our company'spolicy is to strictly scrutinize each new order and verify thepayment details of each new customer.
How does theverification procedure take place?
*Step 1.* You place anorder for a hosting account with us through our order form. A moneytransaction follows through the selected payment method.
*Step2.* We receive a notification email from our authorized retailer(PayPal, WorldPay, 2CheckOut) for the transaction.
*Step 3.* An order verification procedure commenceswithin one hour after the notification has been received (on weekendsthis period may be longer).
*Step4.* A sales representative of ours compares your IP location withyour billing address and the location information given in yourhosting account.
*Step 5.* Paymentconfirmation by phone is made at a time convenient for you. If wecan’t reach you by phone, we’ll send you an email, asking you topresent us with another phone number which you can be reached at inorder to confirm the payment. If within a 48-hour period you stillhaven’t confirmed the payment, the order will be cancelled and theaccount will be blocked.
IMPORTANT: All newPayPal payments come to us with a status ‘Authorized’, but nofunds are cleared into our account yet. Within the period of 48 hoursthe ‘Authorized’ status should be updated to either ‘Capture’(if we approve the payment), or ‘Void’ (if we fail to approve thepayment). The funds will be cleared into our account as soon as (andonly if) the payment goes into ‘Capture’ status. Please, MINDthat your successfully cleared payment will consequently show up withthe following statuses - ‘Authorized’ and ‘Capture’, in yourPayPal statement. This does NOT mean that you have been charged twicefor the service.
We take noresponsibility if, during the order verification process, the domainchosen by you has been registered by someone else, since we registerdomain names only after the payment has been confirmed. If this isthe case, then you might wish to register another domain(s).
